My wife had back surgery in late November and for the next 90 days no bending over for her. I got her this and it's been a life saver for her. She is able to grab stuff off the floor that she has dropped or something she needs from a lower drawer or shelf. The grabber has had a heavy work out and so far it's working great, no problems.

I was given a reacher in the hospital after my back surgery. I thought 'great!". Not so great as it bent easily and become fairly useless. I purchased this one recently and what a difference! It's much sturdier, has a better grip end with larger pads,

I am a short lady with a tall husband. I also have a really bad back & fibromyalgia, so sometimes it’s hard for me to bend over to pick things up off the floor. Let me tell you this thing is amazing! If something is is a cupboard out of my reach I can easily grab it without worry of it slipping out of the rubber grabbers & hitting me, which has happened with previous tools like this. I’ve picked up a dime off the floor with this tool. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made

I just received my gripper last night and was very impressed with the quality. Seems heavy duty. The handle presses with ease. I gave it a quick test. I was surprised that it picked up a single Q-tip with no problem plus the tiniest piece of paper. I also tested it with a candle holder which was a much larger, heavier object and had no problem with that either.

I've had other grabbers that did not close or hold an item I tried to retrieve. It's not fun when it dropped a can on the floor, denting it and couldn't pick it up. But not with this grabber. It does everything I need it to do. It's well made and quite sturdy. The handle works well for me even though I have arthritis in my hands. Well worth the cost. Happy with this purchase.

Great for use in the kitchen for my short wife, as well as myself since I just had surgery and can't bend over. It would be better if it opened the jars for you. But that's another product. Keeps a good grip both for the jar or box, as well as my wife. Way safer than a step ladder (I should know), and handy.
